Really good but im afraid the “symbolism” is not as crazy and deep as some of these reviews are saying. Maybe i just didnt need a movie to help me discover class consciousness tho lol. Reading some of these reviews felt like discussions in my sociology class where all of the upper middle class kids suddenly realize that not everyone’s parents have $200k in an account just waiting to pay their college tuition. Idk tho lol. Still liked the movie. Ok bye 🔥💯

Ryan Gosling, or Ken, is a genius when it comes to performing on the big screen. He is fluid, doesn’t stick to tacky labels, for instance his job: he isn’t a lifeguard nor is he a surfer, his responsibility is simply to Beach. And we could all take a lesson from this. Perhaps we should stop saying “we’re human beings not human doings” and begin saying “we’re human Beach-ings”.
