  Absolutely fantastic watch. Colin Farrell kills it and I just love how they reframed who’s the protagonist, villain, etc throughout the show.

  Part of this is probably just Penguin fever but I liked this way more on second watch. The detective stuff is so cool and Pattinson is just such a pro.

  I think I’m ready to declare Jeffrey wright as the leading character actor of our generation.

  God was this disappointing. Absolutely hated this movie. Who the hell wrote this garbage? They obviously have no idea how finance people talk. Or young people. Or just normal people in general. All the traders besides Roaring Kitty (he was decent at least) made me actually shake in anger whenever they were on screen. This movie wants to be the big short so bad and it just couldn’t even shine that movie’s shoes. Probably the worst movie I’ve seen in at least 5 years, probably longer.

  Conflicted how to feel about this one. Fair amount of the visuals/battles were absolutely stunning but felt a decent amount of the movie waiting for it to end. All the loud sounds were annoying. Interesting to see how it differs from the original though. All in all, solid.
