Watched in London.
It seems like all of Alex Garland's films could be titled Annihilation. He almost addresses how Americans handle and distance themselves from violent realities that appear foreign, but he never fully achieves it. I admired the film's boldness to an extent (and consistently appreciated the cast), but such a provocative approach needs to be much more incisive to truly change perspectives.Translated from by
