Someone took their camera to a beat club in Munich. A few good abd simple 1960s shoegaze-, garage-, and beat-tunes from local bands - completely out of sync with the picture, of course.
A contemporary document like a photo album full of snapshots.

Although director Peter Kass was an acting teacher, the actors in TIME OF THE HEATHEN sometimes look in "wrong" directions. So some reverse shots or reaction shots do not work properly. - Who cares? This movie is great!

Colin Campbell must have had a lot of fun editing the movie. Or it was really hard work. - However: the result is so enjoyable to watch!
Director Andrew Legge turns his short “The Chronoscope” on its head but stays true to his apparent fetish for boyish women with cigarettes. - First film I watched at the cinema in 2024.
