  My second movie of the day, Like Mike is an innocent, unrealistic and harmless family movie about a kid who gets a pair of sneakers belonging to a basketball star who didn't make an appearance, due likely to his high horse. I vividly recall the TV spots for this and The Powerpuff Girls Movie playing constantly when I visited my great-grandfather's house in July 2002, so it was a pleasure to knock the two of them off my list, after nearly twenty-one years.

  EDIT: Due to a typo, I had "baseball star" written. Considering it's Michael Jordan we're talking about, that's funny.

  While staying at my great-grandfather's house in July 2002, TV spots for this and Like Mike played every few minutes between my programs. Just shorts of twenty-one years later, I have finally seen The Powerpuff Girls Movie and it turned out to be pretty funny & cute! Also, the animation quality is distinct and beautiful.
