  As sharp as the weird Trader Joe’s toffee candy I snuck into the theater that poked my gum partway through the movie and made it not quite bleed but feel kinda uncomfortable so I kept prodding my gum for the next 10 minutes. Makes me want to take a polygraph test

  Really tried going into this open-minded, because the negative hype felt like a bandwagon. And dare I say I was intrigued by the premise? Unfortunately, this movie is simply bad.

  The Birds is a lot less similar to Vertigo than Psycho is for sure. Some of the elements I expected, such as a dramatic score, were not there. There was almost only internal diagetic music I think.
  But, there were a couple similarities. Hitchcock still added his typical driving sequences. I guess he liked cars a lot.
