It's What's Inside 2024
Pretty fun watch. I enjoyed following along and found it manageable to keep up. Felt like it was over produced or poppy at times. Might have benefited from a more sympathetic character to root for cuz almost everyone sucks. There’s a person I think you’re supposed to be happy for but it isn’t always easy.
It’s fun but pretty predictable. Not gonna say I saw the final thing coming, but I was wondering about that character and expecting them to eventually play a roll so felt vindicated in the last scene

Dune: Part Two 2024
I really enjoyed the visual look of the harkennon home planet. Generally again the sound and visual design was my favorite aspect. Many sights aren’t quite as special since we are used to them from the first film.
The baby talking and having a conscious is hard to understand without outside knowledge.

Oldboy 2003
Oldboy is a singular experience. The pacing, camera work, and direction are all superb which makes for an easy, engrossing watch. At times I felt like certain plot points were contrived and distracting but the paradigm-shifting ending forced me to reconsider my position on many of these complaints. I can’t think of many other original twists or reveals that have a similar mind shattering effects both immediately and thematically, on revenge and love and purpose and, of course, incest.
