think about how prevalent the redeemable nazi trope is in most holocaust media. there’s much to be said about it, but i think it’s no coincidence how this coincided with the reintegration of nazis into the west and at the head of many western institutions.
at this exact moment, the same thing is happening with the foot soldiers of the genocidal zionist project. news pieces of their trauma and regret after killing children is meant to paint them as redeemable fascists who should be reintegrated into the west. these genocidaires deserve none of our sympathy; all they deserve is a war crimes trial.
