Impressive visuals are bogged down by the film’s identity crisis. It truly never knows if it wants to be satire, drama, or horror. Perkins’ style is becoming recognizable but the story line needed more cohesion to let our director’s ideas shine.

Paddington in Peru 2024
Hilarious and endearing as always. The Paddington films are a great reminder that family films have the power to be captivating, while putting a smile on your face.

Pinocchio 2022
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
While it has some stunning visuals, the entire point of the Pinocchio’s journey was ruined.
I appreciate them showing how kind and gracious he was from the beginning, but the OG arc of his story shows him learning the difference between right and wrong and how it sometimes takes those mistakes to understand the lessons.
