  This Is the Night 1932

  You can see why Cary Grant became a huge star from this early movie - his first. He really shines. The movie itself is one of the better slapstick romantic comedies that were so common in that era. It’s special in that it launched Carry Grant’s career.

  It’s weird and wonderful and I was going along for the wild ride. Bong Joon Ho rarely fails to surprise and delight - no exception here! Pattinson was great, as usual. The supporting cast was strong too. So much is happening that I will absolutely need to rewatch this!

  Somehow missed this when it first came out. Really dug it - a 90’s teen version of The Hidden mixed with Invasion of the Body Snatchers (2 of my favorite sci-fi horror films). And, I can’t believe how many people were in this movie!
