Incredible backgrounds in this one, apparently by uncredited couple Gene Fleury and Bernyce Polifka. Goes by quick which I'm gonna chalk up to wartime budgets. Great ending to this one.

Monkeydoodle 1931
Something about these "forbidden" objects of animation that keeps me coming back. Very pre-code and has some really stilted, sloppy animation I don't normally see even this early in cartoon history. Would love to know more about Les Elton. It is very racist and unfunny, but I'm the one looking under rocks here.
