On first viewing I thought this was a boring film. But I am forever glad I went back to it. It became a film I couldn’t get enough of. Took my wife and two pals to see it at the beautiful Barrymore Film Center in Fort Lee NJ. My buddy Bobby said ‘That’s a film that just stays with you.’ Perfect description of this masterpiece. The Sea Hawk 1940
Featuring ‘The Adventures of Robin Hood’ alumni Flynn, Alan Hale, Claude Rains, and Una O,Connor, as well as Michael Curtiz at the helm and Korngold with another fantastic score, this film is absolutely phenomenal.
