I really love the career trajectory of Robert Pattinson. This is one of his weirder roles. I really like the rolly-poly residents. As a piece of satire, it's VERY heavy handed. As a piece of science fiction, it's really fun. I'm a big fan of clones and all the shenanigans that comes with the idea. Mark ruffalo and Tony Collette were great as huge giant buffoons. The translator is a cool thing and I like the way the residents look and act.
I thought it was a worthy follow-up to Parasite.

It's not exactly Perfect Blue but it has the paranoia and is this real visions of Perfect Blue. Excellent camera work as usual. The mom was crazy, princess amadala was crazy, meg griffon was crazy. OR WERE THEY?!? I love movies where you are not sure what the hell is real or not. And this has that feeling in spades! Oh no spades! Too much balatro lately. I really liked the little touches like the paintings moving or the mirror…

Not exactly sure what the hell happens in this but I loved every second of it. Very bizarre and weirdly industrial music video styling. I can see a lot of what would become Twin Peaks in the future. I don't think I'm supposed to question what is happening in reality with this. I think what you see is what you get. Don't be like me and put watching this off for years. Do yourself a favor and get sucked into a bizarre world of lynchian delights. RIP David Lynch.

This was intense. You can see how videogames with hoard modes were probably inspired by this movie. The shooting segment is just a beautiful orgy of destruction. It's basically just to show off all the ways you can make a bullet impact something for like 10 minutes. Great characters with strong personalities. Absolute banger of a theme song. I have a feeling this John Carpenter guy is probably gonna go places in Hollywood.
