  Found it hard to connect to this when I watched this when it first came out in 2022.

  On a recent rewatch, I realized that this is the funniest and horniest movie I've ever seen. PCW's playfulness is at full display here, balancing melancholy with absurdity in a way that feels both intimate and exhilarating. Every glance, every pause, every touch is charged with an electric tension that makes the romance feel as tragic as it is intoxicating.

  Mona May’s costume design here is absolutely stunning. Love the damn plaid skirts and blazers. Overall such feel a-good, heartfelt movie that feels pretty modern (?) for a 1995 movie, and a lot smarter than it presents itself to be.
