Transylvania 6-5000 1985
Dreadfully unfunny. Zero laughs in 90 minutes despite a great cast. Mel Brooks writer, Rudy de Luca, makes his directorial debut with a terrible script that he composed.

The Keep 1983
Much like John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness, I have no idea what is going on in this film, but I love it regardless. It's all mood, shadows, fog, light, a terrific synth score by Tangerine Dream, Gabriel Byrne, Ian McKellen and Scott Glenn with glowing contacts. It weird but brilliant outlier in the Michael Mann canon.
