  the unpleasantly adorkable comedic stylings of a gen x writer, some of the worst performances ive ever seen, & a perpetual yellow filter. i would wonder how this got greenlit, but i’ve watched star trek: picard so i’m familiar with the creative minds at work here.

  i’m just very tired of the whedon-style writing. can anything be earnest anymore? a yo mamma joke? really? the first scenes with young georgiou were interesting enough but once it descends into the guardians of the galaxy 4 it just flops. 

  famous actress jumpscare at the end??? what?? were they expecting to make a sequel?

  ingenious direction, stellar performances. one of the best shot movies ive ever seen (amazing reflection/mirror/glass use)! devastating. it wins the awards in my heart.
