Megalopolis 2024
I wanted to like this movie because I respect that he self-funded, experimented, and remained committed to this idea for over 40 years; but it was really just not good. The acting was honestly great for the most part, and the visuals/costumes were fun (although some of the effects were surprising bad, maybe on purpose?). But parts of the dialogue were not convincing, and I just don’t think the theme and plot really got anywhere beyond platitudes.
