Dune: Part Two 2024
Watched this at the freehold mall amc with Emily and we were the only people in the theater outside of a couple that sat far from us so basically we had the theater to ourselves. Loved the movie and the empty theater came in handy only once when Emily and I burst out laughing at Javier Bardem's unhinged "Lisan al Gaib" line. I watched this at Rutgers cinema with Vidhi, Megha, Craig, Alex, Michelle and maybe one other person i dont remember oops but it was Megha and Vidhi's third time or something already seeing it in theaters and I get it. The Incredible Shrinking Man 1957
watched this for a course called how to disappear completely. it wasn't as boring as i thought it would be and it fit into the theme of the content we are discussing which is invisibility. the graphics were fun to compare to how far we've come these days. the end was overly dramatic like the man was questioning life beyond culture and society and the universe's relationship to infinitesimal nature. i had to tell my class these revelations were the average shower thoughts of a 13 year old girl but being that the main character was a straight white man from the 50's it makes sense
