  honestly this should’ve been called ketamine and its effects on adults ages 21-23 instead of anora. shockingly little efforts made with her characterization, the parts of it that are shown are wildly inconsistent with her actions throughout the movie (you’re telling me a girl who’s livelihood is a series of transactions doesn’t see this marriage as a business deal even a little bit?) and as it progressed i just found myself hungering for something more. more of ani, more of…

  this was sooooo shit omg, literally took 109 minutes just to tell the audience “war bad.” you actually don’t even have to go see the movie now, i just told you exactly what you’re going to get out of it. soulless white liberal nonsense. 

  half a star for jesse plemons, yes he scares me (don’t ask) but he was truly the only good part of this so i’ll give him credit where credit is due
