  throughly enjoyed it tbh. there’s no good guy here that you can root for and i like that. i also think the misogyny is intentional to the overall messaging. beautifully choreoed and shot. just so so unsettling and grotesque. movies rarely unnerve me before going to sleep but this one did the job

  beautiful shots, gorgeous set design, phenomenal real effects. any points off are for the beginning pacing, it was a little slow and not in a build up way but i think at this point that’s just eggers’ style. his fourth did not disappoint and he’s been so consistent with each film. i loved the psychosexual themes so much. the scene where she basically *nuzzles* into his crotch and says that he’ll never please her like orlock does… wow. lily-rose you…

  Soooo slow it drags like deadweight!! Gripping at certain moments but the music does most of the heavy lifting. The acting is decent ofc but the cinematography hurt my head a bit. The fucking themes sucked and ofc the fucking Obamas are funding it and only could they put out neo lib crap like this. When they talk about how even the rich can’t do anything or pull the strings and no one does .. fuck offfff 😭 I hated the ending sm I giggled a little cuz I was in shock of how badly it ended. Fuck ass friends dude
