  Bridesmaids 2011

  Wiig is great, truly brings a lot of depth to her character in this comedy. Amazing for comedy that this was nominated for script & McCarthy. I wish that trend continued. Hell I wish they still made comedies. Maya is always the best. O’Dowd is adorable. Byrne plays her character to a T, the rivalry is fun. Hamm is fuckin’ hilarious. This was all a big deal back then, for good reason but also showed how stupid of a society we were (and still are.) An all female led comedy movie?!? WHAT?! 
  Morons. 
  Anywho, this is no Barb & Star but it’s still delightful.

  A St. Paddy’s staple in this house! 🍀 
  Also the only time I tolerate the Celtics. 
  I’m so glad I went back to this movie like almost 15 years ago because it’s fucking hilarious. Every one is funny, Daniel Stern comedic masterclass. Insane Aykroyd dance scene. DAMON WAYANS. Christopher McDonald. Larry Bird cameo. Come on!

  Ol’ Billy two balls is still getting better. He may be the best right now. Yeah I’m thinking so. 
  Lotta laughs and overall I was completely glued to what he was talking about and what was coming next. Lotta anger even though he’s becoming a better person. Nothing better than Ol’ Billy all riled up. He smacks that mic stand down at one point. Just complete control up there. Physicality is unbelievable.

  This needs to be on a physical 4K disc. This is another reason why Disney sucks. I’m holding out for that 4K in the meantime that Blu-ray better not go out of print goddamnit!
