A wonderful look. The animation is just perfect for the source material. No notes.
A decent, if forgettable, voice cast.
Sadly, a story as deep as one of the games. Just full of remember this moments and nothing else.

Big George is my favourite sportsman ever so this turning out so mid is a huge bummer.
I thought the fights were decently choreographed to match the original fights. I was especially interested in them using real footage for the Holyfield fight.
Outside of that, there is really not much to recommend here.
Khris David was better suited to the older George but he lacked the charisma required to carry this (large) role.
Unless watching on a sub, avoid.

God dam, what a blast of a movie.
The in-cockpit shots were stunning. They left me eager to see a behind the scenes of this thing. Because without CGI I'm not sure how they were achieved.
The plot is a well-worn story of old teaching new but it's so well executed.
Yes, there is 80's nostalgia at play here but it's all used in the right way. It helps throw this story…
The nihilism running through most of the movie was extremely relatable.
