  Think I caught this on AMC or something like that with some friends 20 years ago. Was a fun rewatch and the pneumatic tube scene at the end unlocked something in my brain.

  All the intellect of a reddit moderator packed into the charming frame of Hugh Grant. While I wouldn’t say it was “strong”, the first act really had my attention. Great performances by all. The building tension, the ebb and flow of the conversation kept me engaged and the hints of something malicious about Grant was great. But around act 2 or the “two door problem” things started to fall apart a bit. The “flashbacks” to characters explaining what they think…

  The fucking grain filter over 3 minutes of credits makes it unbearable from the get go. But seeing “Foley - Freesound.org” Made me scream in terror 

  And then I realized that the fucking filter is just 3 alternating 8 second loops, I cried. 

  I have to use this review as a live journal of my watch or I’m going to put a loaded gun in my mouth.
