Everything and the kitchen sink: the movie. People on LSD for no reason, a foster care story, an overbearing mother who wants the love of her child, and on and on. None of these things ever go anywhere. I wish the people that made this had honed in on one or even two of those ideas and fully fleshed them out. That said, this movie does have a creepy aesthetic, if only it had better writing.

+ Pretty terrible, but also fun.
+ HORRIBLE acting in the best way.
+ Story makes sense for a C tier HK movie.
+ I appreciated the random riff on the Halloween theme song.
- No boobies in a HK movie.....what?Translated from by

+ An ode to giallo that will go over the heads of people that aren't well versed in that genre. There's a lot of little references to the genre, including a clip of The Great Alligator that is played on a TV during a scene. That film was a non-giallo movie made by a master of giallo, Sergio Martino.

Woods Are Wet 1973
+ I went into this totally blind and found it to be a lot like Salo only for the credits to tell me that this film was in fact an adaptation of another Marquis de Sade story, Justine.
+ Not as disturbing as Salo, but pretty close. Lots of kinky sexual violence and cultural discussion points.
+ I was impressed by how darkly lit this film was. It gave me the impression of a gothic horror movie.
+ Very creepy in parts.
- It was a tad slow and the sex scenes dragged a bit.Translated from by
