I’ve seen this film two times now. It was powerful the first watch, but on second viewing it hit even deeper. Fraiser gives a performance like no other….and it’s absolutely heartbreaking.

Aftersun 2022
The relationship of our two main characters, between a father and his daughter, is beautiful to watch. A young fathers personal struggles, sadness and constant struggle to connect and relate is at several moments heartbreaking to watch. The performances from Mescal and Corio…perfection. Every watch I like this film even more, even if the ending does leave me with feelings of sadness. For a first time director Charlotte Wells hit a home run…can’t wait to see her follow up feature.
