This is a pretty good movie overall, but what really made it come together for me was watching the credits and discovering most of the actors were playing themselves. They made it! The restorative power of art! Clarence Maclin's snub for best supporting actor was as criminal as Charles Melton's last year. What an incredibly talented performer he is.

Richard McGuire's original "Here" is probably my favorite short comic of all times. In just six pages and a dry, simple style, it explores wonderfully the limitations of its medium, and it's so brilliant with its brevity that I'm fairly ambivalent to the 2014 graphic novel counterpart.
