There's a scene where two cops (played by horror veterans, Jordana Brewster and Devon Sawa) who are on the hunt for the Heart Eyes Killer, quote that they're named Hobbs and Shaw... Like, y-know, from the movie... Hobbs and Shaw. Its the clunkiest of wink wink nods. (In this case to the Fast and Furious series, in which Brewster played her part).

I'm one of the few who doesn't buy into the adoration of The Silence of The Lambs. Sure, its entertaining, with a superb lead performance from Jodie Foster, (who wisely declined to return here), but it's a long way from being a master work. (Demme's finest work was the under seen Something Wild).
