Darlin' 2019
This was very different than the first 2 but still disturbing in other ways. Pollyanna McIntosh was amazing throughout the trilogy. The Woman and Darlin definitely had a message aside from the slasher/horror aspect. My favorite of the 3 was The Woman but this was a decent sequel.

The fact that no one questions a bloody ax in the middle of a desert.
I was super excited for this movie but I have to admit that I was a little disappointed. The first hour or so is very uneventful and dragged but I understand it was meant for character development. The last 30 minutes was totally creepy but also totally confusing. The imagery, the jarring and unearthly sounds, the almost complete darkness was disturbing, unsettling and disorienting.
