    Carry-On

    ★★★½

Carry-On is a sort of Die Hard inspired Christmas thriller about a bomb, an airport, and a TSA guard. This film has many cliches, but is unique in some of its tropes.

The film starts slow and ends insanely fast, but it all starts when Jason Bateman starts talking in this film. When the film picks up, there are even more crazy scenes that happen, such as a really outstanding action scene later in the film.

The tension in this film is insane at points but at mute on others. But this is definitely a good film to watch after a nice holiday night.

This movie hit the normal despicable Me and Illumination qualities: Minion mayhem, funny gags, a somewhat witty villain, and a list of songs that should be in better movies than this.

Despicable Me 4 is a lot like the others, but definitely worse. The plot points that you would think would lead to a good story do nothing. The characters that spend a bit of time to set up do not have any good ways in coming back, and end…

    The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare

    ★★★½

This movie does a great job… in reminding me of other movies that came out in the past. The playful manner of the characters is insanely alike to Inglorious Bastards, or the classic James Bond movie series. The tension does not feel much like tension. More like a slight hump that the viewer wonders how the characters will face the odds to beat.

But among the negatives, many positives are found. The nature of the whole ordeal is insanely interesting, kinda…
