Mickey 17 2025
More like Gigachad Mickey 18. A bit bloated and juggles one too many concepts unevenly, but nonetheless endlessly entertaining (through its quick pacing and energetic performances) and wildly creative from a technical standpoint. Way more hilarious than I was expecting. The most unserious film of the year so far (compliment).

Refreshing to see a film that approaches its characters with such a warm sensitivity as this one does. A wonderful blend of delightful comedy and heartbreaking drama clothed in 70s style filmmaking and presentation, further elevated by three amazing performances. Never gets old. Also rooting for Paul Giamatti to take home that Oscar 🍔
