Matilda 1978
This movie is actually kind of great, with winning performances and a bouncy, breezy story. The worst thing is Matilda herself, played by a man (Gary Morgan) in a hideous and unsettling kangaroo suit, who communicates via kazoo hoots added in post production.
I cannot stress this enough: Looking into Matilda's eyes is terrifying. Bone chilling. When Ernie Hudson says "I've seen shit that'll turn you WHITE!" in Ghostbusters, he MUST be talking about Matilda's eyes.
