Now, this is how you make a low-budget horror movie. If you center everything in one place and slowly build up the eeriness/tension, it could have a lasting impression. 2 major twists were done well, and in the end, you will feel no sympathy for Shogo; he had it coming. It's not as bad as everyone tried to portray it to be. I actually quite enjoyed it! Granted, I wasn't all that impressed with the new sidekicks, Alice and Daimio (now Daimio's sexy but he gives off asshole energy). David Harbour's portrayal of Hellboy doesn't compare to Ron Pearlman's but it's not bad. The worse take within this film was the main villainess, the Blood Queen (Nimue).
