The innovations of showing people facing away from the cinema and having an original score don’t elevate this from being veeery boring. Only interesting for historical reasons, and even then the knowledge that this movie exists is probably sufficient.

The Thing 1982
Probably the biggest and most obvious blind spot in my movie viewing history up until now. I‘ll use the feeble excuse that I wanted some of the best for later on. But man, what a movie. I heard so much and have seen a lot of clips, but the tension and the horror are still in full effect even when you „know“ what will happen next.
