A decade later, Damien Chazelle's feature debut has become slightly overrated. When I saw it ten years ago, it was a small indie film that I considered a hidden gem. As time has gone by, my love has dampened, but the reception seems to have grown considerably (top 50 on Letterboxd and IMDB, amongst other acclaim). I've always heard this was a great concert film, and it doesn't disappoint. Some of their best songs to that point, with some really trippy visuals. The hook of dividing "Echoes" into two halves would foreshadow what they did with "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" several years later. Also, it's only an hour and free on YouTube.
