  i liked it! far from a masterpiece, but it succeeds at what it sets out to accomplish. it also manages to avoid some of the classic biopic tropes- a lesser movie would’ve included a subplot centered around dylan’s heavy drug use during this period. the film does a nice job of making it known via his increasingly haggard appearance and erratic behavior, but doesn’t shove it into our faces as a bit of cheap drama

  this was one of the worst movies i’ve ever seen but fuck it i’m so close to rating it five stars

  i didn’t know it was possible for a musical to be this unhinged unintentionally. watching this felt like the dreams you have when you’re sick and accidentally take too much nyquil. the sets all look like a hallmark storefront from 2006 and i think they just found the entire supporting cast at a holiday stock photoshoot??? don’t even get…
