  I had the best time watching this. Robert delivers 2 incredible performances as 17 and 18; Naomi Ackie 🫡💖. Absurdist humor at points, and deliberate writing when it matters. Presented questions about identity and death in a kooky yet plausible way.

  The first 2/3 of this worked so well for me— the reveals were well paced and clever, the cast gels, and I really appreciated what the film had to say about “male loneliness”. There’s so much great storytelling happening, I loved how the film was paced and how intentional the first two thirds felt in developing characters and motives. The last third was sadly way too clunky and long for me and pulled me out. Sophie Thatcher and Harvey Guillen!!!!

  The slowest burn. Appreciate it more after leaving the theatre and being unable to get it out of my mind. A film that doesn’t answer all its questions and confronts the slippery, heartbreaking nature of memory, time, and darkness.
