The Dark Knight 2008
Thank you to the powers at be that Heath Ledger played this role and that they gave the Joker the screen time he deserved. I wonder what it would’ve looked like if they’d made the Joker the protagonist? Could that have been done or was it his unpredictable role, with us we knowing little about him, that made him so amazing?
Apart from Ledger, the few glowing seconds of Cillian Murphy were super exciting. There were gorgeous shots of Hong Kong. The end felt inconclusive and Dent’s villain arc didn’t entirely add up for me. Still would obviously recommend.
