Denzel is such a good choice here (and every time he’s cast in something), very Bush era paranoia about everything, feels of that time and perhaps also potentially of this time, although current conspiracy theories aren’t nearly as intricate.

This felt like three movies while also being just one half of a story, which isn’t a bad thing but very much the vibe I got upon rewatching it. Also the train scene still got my blood pressure up the second time round 🚂

So this movie is for people who have seen Logan, both Deadpool prequels, the Avengers and the Loki Disney+ TV show and enjoyed or at least understood all of them. And guess what? That’s me. Logan was phenomenal, the rest had some good stuff and some bad stuff but by and large this movie exists for the engaged yet casual viewer that likes to go see things in theaters. So I did! And I really had fun with the opening…
