  Despite being over 100 years old, F. W. Murnau’s NOSFERATU managed to sink its teeth into me by the very opening shot of Wisborg from a bird’s eye view, and the ensuing segment of Mr. Hutter knotting his tie in the mirror.   Fwiw I think Stone and Ruffalo give great performances and she absolutely deserved the Oscar. The costume design is inspired, and the score has a few runs that blow me away. My grandma always says if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.

  Indy’s most annoying companions by far. Lazy send off, but at least Ford looks like he’s having a blast. Amid its scattered worthwhile moments, it’s overall dreary and hollow, especially compared to the spirit of the first (dare I say) four. The greatest thing about this is how John Williams, at the age of ninety, sat himself down at a piano to breathe into this thing some life, and boy is it invigorating.
