  Why did we get an hour of exposition for the video game cutscene looking bad guy that never shows up and his army of boring wood chippers instead of giving all the symbiotes names and backstories?!?!?

  I don’t even remember if I liked it when I rented it from blockbuster when I was 7 or 8 but DAMN they really decided to make a whole movie of cgi things ricocheting and bouncing with no plot (or like 5 different plots?)

  Got as far as the dance number which has serious “Bowling alley when you get a strike” vibes, but couldn’t finish it.

  Overstuffed and goofy, definitely some stuff that didn’t work for me / felt distracting from the stuff that did. Great Pattinson scenery chewing.

  After looking it up, timing of its original planned release date vs its actual release date and what events happened in between seems great fodder for some conspiracy nuts.
