I’m so curious how I would have felt watching this movie when it came out, when I was in my 20s.
It was ok, and mostly reminded me that being in your 20s really can suck- and also made me glad I had way better friends that Frances 😅

It’s a big pet peeve for me, though, when depressed characters at the beginning of a move are like “yea OK like I guess all I need to do is GET MARRIED and then I won’t be depressed 🙄🙄🙄”
and then the movie is like “…but in the end, all they needed to do was get married and then they weren’t depressed!!! 🥰🥰🥰”Might be unnecessary to compare it to Groundhog Day, perhaps, but I appreciate that…
