Purple Rain 1984
It feels more like an extended music video than a movie but it’s still a fun watch. I understand why Prince was such a big draw back in the 80’s and even now to this day. Purple Rain is the true example of what the culture of the 80’s really was. The musical performances, the bright neon lights, and camera work makes the whole experience exciting. Even though everything else to the writing, acting, and pacing distracts drags down the overall film.
