Felt very conflicted watching this film - the plot was exactly the kind of thing I'd usually love, but something about the film (particularly the sex scenes) felt uncomfortable. I think it being based on a book by a woman but directed by man kinda explains it. I get why it's so highly rated, but it's just not for me. Will definitely try reading the book though
