This was fun alright. But did it accomplish what it was trying to accomplish? Absolutely not. The film kinda lost its way, at some point I didn't know what I was watching. Ruffalo was there as a weird blend of Trump (the imitation felt like a parody, seriously tone it down) and Musk. Rob and Toni were great as always. Basically a critique of capitalism and colonialism that said nothing new, but it was somewhat fun so there's that.

All around powerful. The performances, the cleverness of the camera work, the score, all of it! I'd say I took off half a star for the duration, but then again it went by in the blink of an eye, I was glued to the screen the entire time. I definitely won't be mad if it takes Best Picture.

It's become rare that a film leaves me with so many emotions. I've gone through grief, tears, wonder, suspense, turmoil, and joy. There were moments when I was barely breathing. The directing was flawless, technically demanding scenes were brilliantly done, but what struck me the most was acting, and that's where all of this emotion came from.
