I love Tom Hanks but he was soo miscast here.
Though it was lovely to see him in a mature role, exercising  the subtleties of a simple and seemingly average grumpy man in his old age.  But given Hanks renowned   ‘nice-guy’ image, for me it was difficult to seperate that and his Hollywood-star presence away from this mostly superficial performance.

It’s a different kind of feeling watching ESOTSM a couple years later,  on a second watch, with a different state of mind ; an almost spotless mind you could say.

With a fresh perspective and an older eye for the fundamental things in life that once seemed unclear but more in focus now; is when the film really reiterates that,  what really matters in the end is how we make each other feel, not what we do, that really sticks.

Just For once, I’d like Sharukh Khan to step away from fancy dialogues, put away his pride and act in a good heartfelt drama or an indie. Especially before he gets any older, jeez is that so much to ask? :/

     |This film has put me into a mild depression , because of  how good a piece of art it is.|
Blown away. That score by Ludwig Göranssan is still echoing in my mind and body!
    This is cinema.

Still need to collect all my thoughts (more coherently)  on the movie because they are plenty and I would love to write a proper review on it.
But something that struck out to me was the exceptional casting choices!

    I just loved…
