  i remember people absolutely trashing this movie when it came out but i thought it was very very good. extremely depressing and a massive call out, of course, but the writing, performances, and photography felt quite natural and thoughtful. it seems to me that anyone who thinks julie is a narcissist has never met a narcissist. however, full disclosure, people who do not like me have called me a narcissist. so. do with that what you will.
