Did I need a three-hour doc to remind me that Mormons are creepy fucking weirdos? Not really, but it was an entertaining watch regardless. I think my favorite part was "professor" Kevin not knowing what the word "emaciated" means - what a dipshit.

I don't understand why everyone likes this movie.
For the first 95% of the movie, Tom (William Hurt) is the only one of the three main characters that is remotely likable. He's not very bright and has only succeeded as a newscaster because of his good looks, but he is at least aware of this and completely honest about it with others. The other two main characters delight in insulting and belittling Tom... that is, when they're not using him…

I enjoyed this most of the way through, but was underwhelmed by the final few episodes. A lot of stuff wasn't explained (or, at least, not very clearly), such as:

- Was Darragh's death a suicide, an accident, or a murder?
- Did Maeve know Greta was dead? Was she covering for Sgt. Power when she said she took her to Dublin? If so, why?
