The pace of the movie felt really off. The first half of the movie is one big montage with constant 2 second shots and music building up and down again at a displeasing rate. The movie somewhat redeems itself in the latter half, as the pace slows down and the scenes become more meaningful and less superficial. I’d say too many narratives were chosen for the story and in the end, only some of them became compelling as a result.
