First and foremost, I applaud all of the actors performances in this film. All of the characters were played extremely well, in my opinion. Count Orlock, specifically, with all of the heavy breathing and guttural noises, was an effective unsettling experience to watch.

One of my long time favorite films. Beautiful set, lighting, and whimsy are all one needs to transform a good script into a great film. This film low-key made me go into an I-wanna-go-to-film-school phase in middle school. ( I ended up in art school - close.) Has such a close place in my heart.
