  Maurice's Bar 2023

  This piece of animation is one of the thrilling films I have ever seen in the last five years. It revolves around Maurice Zekri, who opened the first queer bar in the beginning of the 20th century, and how his bar was vandalized by police force. The animation is fluid, the editing is fast paced and the story is captivating. It's a pity that not much has changed in 100 years as the right-wing is on the rise worldwide. Still, rebellion should persist.

  Another forgettable MCU flick. Underdevloped characters and desperately wanting to pretend like a first-rate political drama based on US losing its reputation, legacy over foreign politics in the present world but fails to do so. Sam Wilson has no concrete, convincing agenda. Ross is underdeveloped, as well. It's only purpose is to be another trailer for the next Avengers film and a high-scale toy campaign. Scripts were never biggest suits of Marvel but there used to be decent scripts in previous films. IMAX transfer was also a disaster. In short, Brave New World is one of the weakest in the MCU.

  Quite popular these days that filmmakers make fims abou fascist leaders in the wake of the rise of fascism since the 2010s...
  Pretends to be a film about napoleon or the obsessive love story but fails to convince us that it depicts the historical events and the so-called love story... the film is rather a british black comedy about a man who pretends to be napoleon and lacks depth but i cannot deny that kirby and phoenix did good job delivering their lines...
